Brigade
The Brigade is a digital agency in PDX.
The website was designed with sharp lines, angles and extended backgrounds. Its goal was for a fast, precise, and moody feel.
The Brigade's main priority for the new website was having it powered by a CMS so that anyone on the team can make updates.
A big development challenge was allowing for backgrounds to overflow the page content, angled clip paths, animated lines, images, and text all intersecting at just the right spots.
All of this while still being responsive, and looking great on any device. The design encourages the viewer to scroll down the page, and provides a nice flow between content.

The work page layout allows for a hierarchy of projects that can draw attention to the latest and greatest by The Brigade.

Overflowing backgrounds, angled cuts, and animations are all carried over to the mobile UI.
The best part of The Brigade are the people who stand behind the shield.
They are a small and friendly bunch of talented individuals.
The Brigade is known to host musical events, and I hear there's talk of a stand-up night full of dad jokes. Look them up if you're in town.
